标题: 英媒选出本世纪100部最受喜爱小说，莫言阎连科入选
4月7日，《星期日泰晤士报》的作家和评论家评选出了“本世纪100部最受喜爱小说”。其中一些作品虽然诞生于上个世纪，但最初是用非英语语言写成，直到最近才出版英文版。

《星期日泰晤士报》认为，自2000年以来，文学世界发生了很大的变化，书籍世界变得更加多样化，也可以说更加有趣了。他们所列出的这份榜单并不代表任何权威标准，而是评选者的个人喜好。为了尽可能地扩大范畴，每位作家只入选一本作品。另外，犯罪惊悚类小说未入此列。

从这份榜单中可以看出，短篇小说与外来翻译小说正在兴起。中国共有两位作家的作品入选榜单，分别是莫言的《蛙》和阎连科《炸裂志》。
